Manual Roll Up Bug Barriers

Manual Roll Up Bug Barriers provide an effective solution for keeping insects and other contaminants out while maintaining ventilation, visibility, and employee comfort. Ideal for warehouses, food processing facilities, and high-traffic areas, these doors help improve sanitation, meet regulatory standards, and create a more controlled work environment.

Features

Heavy duty spring loaded roll tube.
Maximum size~ 14′ wide x 14′ high
Minimum width~ 54″ wide.
Doors exceeding the 10′ high will receive fiberglass windbars for added stability.
Doors 11′ wide and over will require 4″ deep Snaptite tracks.

Header Mount, Face of Wall, Stand off Bracket Mount.
Unit width is critical on all header mounted doors.
All Bug Barriers are manufactured to + or -1/8″ tolerance.

Standard green color – other colors available.
17″ x 11″ high strength, vinyl coated polyester (10 ounce) weave screen material.
Windbars are reinforced in yellow safety vinyl.

2″ wide and 2″ deep Snaptite aluminum tracks.
Header mount will take up to 3-1/2″ of side room on each side.
Wall mount will take up to 6″ of side room on each side including weatherstripping.

Grey weatherstripping is angled to provide a tighter seal preventing bugs and insects easy access or entry.

Interlocking brush seal is incorporated at the top of the Snaptite tracks causing a reset system. Should the door be forced out of the tracks by accidental impact the door is designed to reset back into the guides.

Automatic Roll Up Bug Barrier

Bug Barrier Doors provide a strong, effective barrier against insects, wind, and other contaminants, while maintaining airflow and visibility. Designed with durable materials and flexible components, these doors are ideal for warehouses, food processing facilities, and other high-traffic areas that need reliable protection.

Features

Doors between 40″ wide and 14′ high receive 2″ Snaptite tracks with Gateway’s unique patented windbars. Windbars are made of wood wrapped in galvanized steel that remains flexible enough to pop out in case of impact or excessive wind. Head room required is 8″.

Doors greater than 11′ wide receive 4″ Snaptite tracks with wind stabilizer bars. Wind stabilizer bars are used for larger door openings to maintain greater strength and dependability.

Aluminum bottom profile bar with cushioned edge and a bottom draft seal for positive floor contact. Breakaway feature is used in the bottom profile bar to help prevent damage to the door by accidental impact. Head room required is 18″.

Designed with a reliable in-tube motor and flexible windbar system, it delivers smooth operation, durability, and long-lasting performance.

    Features

    In-tube motor is rated at 4 amps, single phase 120v. Constant contact switch activates motor. Door speed is approximately 12″ per second.
